I knew something was up when I saw the rows of town cars lined up outside the brand-new Wythe Hotel, located in a gritty street in Williamsburg.
In keeping with the Brooklyn design spirit, the white-hot Wythe Hotel is housed in a restored historical industrial building topped with a three-story glass tower addition. The interiors feature an authentic mix of Old World charm (restored brick facade, original timber beams, cast-iron columns) and new local design (graphic wallpaper, crisp white sheets, polished concrete floors); it all feels like the culmination of Brooklyn’s design evolution.
