A pair of Swedish designers teams up with a pair of cabinetmakers to found Snickeriet (Swedish for carpentry), a new line of handmade furniture based on craft and simplicity.

Karl-Johan Hjerling and Karin Wallenbeck previously worked designing for clients such as Svenskt Tenn and Acne, while Gunnar Dahl and Karolina Stenfelt have been wining awards as master cabinetmakers. The Stockholm-based company recently launched their first collection, which will be produced alongside their custom-commissioned furniture. Currently on view at Nitty Gritty in Stockholm, for more information visit Snickeriet.
